Summary: The March 2012 issue of the Spectru monthly bulletin includes news items on completion of the first phase of the plan to end analogue terrestrial television transmissions (switch-off plan), divulgation of the Regulation Amending the Portability Regulation and approval of the draft decision on notifying the European Commission, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and national regulatory authorities of other European Union member states about procedures to follow when gauging the quality of service of regulated wholesale offers. Other highlights of this issue include the release of fourth quarter 2011 statistics on electronic communications and postal services, publication of a decision on the confidentiality obligations of postal operators and a summary of ANACOM’s efforts to fulfil the troika programme.
