By determination of 12 July 2012, ANACOM has approved the draft final decision to be notified to the European Commission (EC), the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the national regulatory authorities of other Member States of the European Union (EU) on the revision of calculation of PT Comunicações cost of capital rate, as applicable to the 2011 financial year.

Approval was given, likewise, to the report of the prior hearing and of the public consultation to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted, subsequent to determination of 11 May 2012.  Under these procedures, comments were received from the following undertakings: Grupo Portugal Telecom (Portugal Telecom SGPS, PT Comunicações and TMN), Optimus and Vodafone Portugal.
