The European Commission (EC) has launched two public consults under the development of the Digital Agenda: one regarding the legislative initiative on Network and Information Systems (NIS), and another on net neutrality.
The first consult aims to collect and obtain specific information related to the occurrence of information technology security incidents in Europe, for the purpose of reinforcing the new legislative proposal on cyber security.
Through the second consult, the EC seeks answers to specific questions on transparency, switching and certain aspects of traffic management which have emerged as key issues in the debate on the net neutrality, which has occurred in Europe over the last few years.
Interested parties - governments, companies, citizens - may participate in these consults until 15 October 2012, via the pages created for the effect by the EC.
