On 25 July, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) published a new opinion with regard to the notification made by the European Commission (EC) to the Czech Republic, issued with consideration to article 7(a) of the Framework Directive.
On 11 July 2012, BEREC published an opinion pursuant to article 7 of the Framework Directive and in the context of the ongoing phase II investigation. This procedure stems from the EC’s presentation of serious doubts with regard to the proposal submitted by the Czech regulator (Czech Telecommunication Office - CTU) for revising the wholesale broadband access market (market 5).
