contentArea_6

By decision of February 21, 2001 new prices for ISDN primary access (ISDN PRI) were approved, based upon the following principles:

1. The increase in the monthly subscription fee for ISDN primary access recently announced by Portugal Telecom (PTE 50,500) is not compatible with the principle of cost orientation and should be suspended immediately.

2. The price to the public of ISDN primary access should be reduced by 10% in comparison with prices charged at the end of 2000, to take effect from the date on which currently practised prices are suspended.
