By resolution dated 17 May 2005, guidelines have been passed for minimum content to be included in electronic communications contracts, prepared under Article 6, Item 1, Section n) of the ICP-ANACOM articles of association (Decree Law no. 309/2001 of 7 December) and Article 5, Item 4, Sections b) and d) of the Electronic Communications Law (Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February).

In light of their impacts on affected markets, the proposed guidelines will undergo a general consultation procedure per Article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law, with a period of 30 working days for interested parties to voice their opinions, preferably by email to ''cm_contratos@anacom.pt''.
