By determination of 25 January 2007, approval has been granted to a draft decision on the offer by OPTIMUS Telecomunicações of a new electronic communications service known as "Optimus Home", including issues related to the use of frequencies and numbering, as well as users' right to the provision of information. Moreover, OPTIMUS was also requested to provide information on how it intends to transfer users of Novis's OPTIMUS Home service to the service it aims to provide.

This determination was submitted to the prior hearing of OPTIMUS, pursuant to articles 100 and following of the Code of Administrative Procedure, the company having been granted 10 days to asses the issue, as well as to submit the requested particulars. The determination has also been submitted to the general consultation procedure, the same time limit having been set to provide comments.
