ANACOM has reported that it has received a total of 1,621 requests up to the end of the second half of 2012 regarding non-ionising radiation and requiring analysis of specific situations. ANACOM has concluded 1,603 processes (involving 237 educational establishments), many following on-site measurements.
The results of these analyses indicate values which are at least 50 times lower than the reference density level established in Administrative Rule no. 1421/2004 of 23 Novemberhttp://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=246625. In total, 57 situations were found where there was no guarantee of compliance with the limit of 50 times below the reference level; however in all cases compliance with the actual reference level was guaranteed. The conclusions of these analyses have been notified to the persons requesting the respective assessments.
