On 3 December at 14.30, at Novotel Hotel in Lisbon, a Workshop will take place on the "Application of the R&TTE Regime in Portugal", organized by ANACOM. Relevant information on the event can be found here.

ANACOM is responsible for monitoring compliance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 192/2000 of 18 August, which transposes the rules set forth in Directive 1999/5/EC of 9 March of the European Parliament and the Council on radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment and the mutual recognition of their conformity (R&TTE).

At a time when enforcement campaigns are being intensified, including through cooperation initiatives with ANACOM’s counterpart Authorities in Europe, this event is being held with the intention of developing a venue for debate, contributing to the clarification of key aspects of the R&TTE regime for manufacturers and/or distributors of electronic communications equipment.
