ANACOM is committed to respecting the privacy of its users. The site allows, in the most part, free navigation and is not subject to any prior collection of personal information. Only those pages related to electronic services require the user to supply personal information as a condition of the provision of the service requested.

ANACOM is responsible for the protection of all personal information with which it is provided and may use such information for the following purposes:

- improving the services available;
- generating general statistical information;
- establishing a connection with the user sending, via email, institutional information that has been requested.

ANACOM will not share personal information provided by users of the website with any third party.

All and any use of personal data shall be lawful

In accordance with paragraph 4 of article 10 of Law no. 67/98 of 26 October, which refers to the security conditions that should be applied to the collection of data on open networks, all employees of ANACOM involved in the processing or collection of data are bound to respect the confidentiality of such information.

Users may, at any time, remove their personal data from ANACOM’s records, by selecting “Unsubscribe”. This will cause your data to be removed immediately.

ANACOM keeps user information in its database of user records in order to provide each user with immediate access to their personal preferences whenever they enter the site. This information is kept until the user asks for it to be removed.
