Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) regulates and supervises the electronic and postal communications sector in Portugal, providing national representation at various international forums.

ANACOM promotes competition and protects the interests of citizens, ensuring the provision of clear information and transparency in terms of tariffs and conditions of use of services.  It also works for the development of communication markets and networks.

For further information about ANACOM, please see the page ''About ANACOM?http://www.anacom.pt/template12.jsp?categoryId=5409''.

ANACOM's internet website is an indispensable tool for the promotion of our activity. Our main objective is to provide here all the information you may need. To this end, this website has been endowed with features that facilitate access by citizens with special needs. We have likewise implemented an on-line attendance service, to simplify and decentralise our relationship with users.

For better orientation, please consult the website map.

This website is under continual expansion and improvement. Your comments or suggestions are thus more than welcome.
