Local Loop Unbundling
Liberalisation of the telecommunications sector has various components, with ANACOM responsible for promoting and monitoring the corresponding developments. An example is unbundled access to the local loop (LLU).
LLU - Local Loop Unbundling: Unbundling of the local loops between the client's premises and the local exchange. This enables other operators to use them on a full or shared basis in order to provide services to the user. Also known as Local Loop Offer.
