ACIST - Associação de Comerciantes e Instaladores de Sistemas de Telecomunicações (Association of Sellers and Installers of Telecommunication Systems)
ANACOM, as part of its remit with respect to cooperation, has developed partnerships with third parties in order to promote the improvement of the communications sector in PALOP countries. It is with this objective that closer relations have been developed with the Association of Sellers and Installers of Telecommunication Systems (ACIST), including at the level of ANACOM's Advisory Council and the Technical and Regulatory Groups of this Authority.
In this context, ANACOM has supported several events organized by ACIST-AET, including the XII Meeting of SMEs on "Info-inclusion - The Great Challenge of Communication", held in Praia, Cape Verde in November 2008.
The event proved to be very positive and it was agreed between that Association and the Government of Cape Verde to build a training centre for certification in the Telecommunications Infrastructure in Buildings (ITED).
