Switch-off plan for Portugal - 2012
Homes located in the municipalities lasted below (considered as being in the coastal area of the mainland for the purpose of the switch-off of analogue television signals) started receiving digital signals only between 12 January and 23 February, except homes with aerials pointed at the transmitters at Montejunto, Lousã, Marão and Monte da Virgem, which will not be switched off until 26 April 2012.
Homes located in the more inland municipalities of this coastal area will start receiving television transmissions in digital format only on 26 April 2012, if aerials are pointed towards transmitters or relays included in the third phase of the switch-off of analogue signals.
