Mozambique
Going Back to the early 1990s when ANACOM (then ICP) was directly involved in the creation of INCM - Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Moçambique (National Communications Institute of Mozambique), bilateral cooperation with Mozambique has developed in a concerted and systematic manner, including through work training programmes at ANACOM for INCM technicians, Portuguese technical missions in Mozambique, the provision of advice and the donation of equipment.
In October 2008, a new Cooperation Protocol was signed which gave new impetus to relations between the two authorities and responded to the new demands of the sector. Accordingly, and in line with the protocols concluded with other PALOP regulators, new forms and instruments of cooperation have also been established with Mozambique, with particular emphasis on the Indicative Cooperation Programmes for the medium and long term and Annual cooperation plans which, each year, implement the former.
