AICEP - Associação Internacional das Comunicações de Expressão Portuguesa (International Association of Portuguese Speaking Communications)
ANACOM only became an institutional member of this Association in 2000 when the statutes of the organization were amended to allow the participation of regulators of the postal and telecommunications sectors. However, AICEP has been in existence since 1990, with ANACOM (then ICP) participating in the ceremony of its formal constitution, which took place in Guinea-Bissau, and accompanying the summits of the Association as an observer.
Since 2000, ANACOM has actively participated in various events promoted by AICEP, in light of the forums and sector meetings held in the Portuguese speaking area that marks the work of this association.
Among its activities, it is important to highlight the establishment of the Observatory for the Lusophony Communications in which AICEP participates as a Member-Sponsor.
