AR Telecom's standard contracts for provision of electronic communication services

By order of 10 May 2010, approval was given to standard contracts to be used by AR Telecom - Acessos e Redes de Telecomunicações, S.A. for the provision of electronic communication services, including: i) television signal distribution; ii) fixed telephone service; iii) Internet access and data transmission service.
Electronic Communications Services: Service normally provided for remuneration which consists wholly or mainly in the conveyance of signals on electronic communications networks, including telecommunications services and transmission services in networks used for broadcasting, without prejudice to the exclusion referred to in point b) of paragraph 1 of article 2 (Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February).
Internet: Set of interconnected computer networks in TCP/IP extending around the world, which connects users to companies, pubic administration institutions, universities and other individuals, where servers of information and services (www, email, etc.) are available. It can be accessed with a computer and a modem, through a service provider.
