The statement given by Eduardo Cardadeiro, a member of ANACOM's Board of Directors, to ''Exame'' magazine has been published in the March 2008 issue of this magazine in response to the question: ''Why are communications the most expensive in Europe?''.

The article which includes this statement is entitled ''8 (almost) Ingenuous Questions'' and includes opinions on various questions of relevance to the majority of citizens. Statements were collected from Helena C. Peralta, Inês Cunha Direito, Margarida Fiúza, Marisa Moura, Nuno Almeida and Sónia M. Lourenço.
