ANACOM approved a draft decision on the leased lines reference offer (LLRO), under which PT Comunicações (PTC) must alter the LLRO and publish it within a 15-day time limit, taking into account the principles of non-discrimination and cost-orientation.
Approved by decision of 16 March 2006, this determination establishes a set of conditions governing the alterations to be introduced, which include, among others, a reduction by 15% of prices of digital circuits with capacity between 256 Kbps (inclusive) and 2 Mbps (inclusive) and by 20% of prices of 155 Mbps circuits, compared to the proposal submitted on 19 October 2005 by PTC.
This determination was submitted to the prior hearing of interested parties, who have been set a maximum time limit of 10 working days for the purpose.
