By determination of 28 September 2010, ANACOM has given approval to the draft decision on the designation and availability of the 790-862 MHz sub-band for the provision of electronic communication services in accordance with Decision 2010/267/EU, whereas the availability of this sub-band before 2015 depends on the establishment of technical and geographic conditions which provide for the compatibility of usage, including between Morocco and Spain.

It was likewise decided to amend the QNAF - Quadro Nacional de Atribuição de Frequências (National Table of Frequency Allocations) accordingly.

In accordance with the same determination, this draft decision is submitted to the general consulting procedure, pursuant to article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law, whereas notification shall be made to the ERC - Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (Media Regulatory Authority). A period of 20 working days is given in both situations for the submission of comments.
