New ''703'' code in National Numbering Plan

By determination of 19 November 2010, ANACOM has given approval to the final decision on the creation of a specific code - 703 - in the PNN - Plano Nacional de Numeração (National Numbering Plan) for the provision of electronic communication services on non-publicly available private networks. In addition, the conditions were established governing the allocation and use of the numbers associated with these services.

ANACOM likewise gave approval to the report of the prior hearing and of the public consultation to which the respective draft decision was submitted following determination of 30 July 2010. In this respect, comments were received from the following entities: Refer Telecom, PT Comunicações and Vodafone Portugal.
