2010-2011 version of NTFA submitted to consultation

By determination of 24 March 2011 and under the terms of articles 15 and 16 of Law no. 5/2004 of February, ANACOM has given approval to the 2010/2011 version of the National Table of Frequency Allocations (NTFA).

As an instrument with significant impact on the market, it was decided to submit this new version of the NTFA to the general consultation procedure under the terms of article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law, whereby a period of 20 working days is provided for interested parties to respond.

Glossary
National Frequency Allocation Plan (NFAP): Spectrum management instrument that consists of the frequency allocation table (radio services assigned to each band), the publication of the allocated and reserved spectrum in the scope of publicly available electronic communications networks and services, as well as the specific cases that require rights of use and the respective process of allocation.
