On 31 May and 1 June 2011, ANACOM distributed an informative pamphlet through Agualva-Cacém on the transition from analogue to digital terrestrial television (DTT). The pamphlet was distributed at Mira-Sintra, Cacém, Massamá and Rio de Mouro train stations, and also at bus stops in these areas. "TDT Notícias" (DTT news) is also available at post offices and in branches of Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
Agualva-Cacém is the second area in Portugal to have analogue television broadcasting switched off - the switch-off is scheduled for 16 June.
