Migration to DTT - broadcast indictors
As from today, the four free-to-air channels, RTP1, RTP2, SIC and TVI, will air indicators warning viewers that they continue to receive analogue broadcasts. Indicators are displayed in the top right corner of the screen, next to each station’s logo.
By requesting TV stations to air these indicators on their broadcasts, ANACOM intends to warn people of their need to migrate to digital television. The final analogue switch-off will take place in one month. As from 26 April broadcasts in Portugal will be fully digital.
