ANACOM has released the "State of Communications" report, with reference to 2011 and published in electronic format only.
The report details the state of electronic and postal communications in Portugal as in 2011 and explains the trends seen over the period reported. It also presents the evolution reported compared to previous years, with the aim of giving context to the data presented, the trends identified and the innovation occurring in the sector.

Glossary
Electronic Communications Services:
Service normally provided for remuneration which consists wholly or mainly in the conveyance of signals on electronic communications networks, including telecommunications services and transmission services in networks used for broadcasting, without prejudice to the exclusion referred to in point b) of paragraph 1 of article 2 (Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February).
Postal Service:
Service consisting of the clearance, sorting, routing and delivery of postal items.
