Portuguese Committee of URSI: Call for papers and ANACOM - URSI Portugal Prize

The Portuguese Committee of URSI has launched a call for papers in preparation for its 6th congress, to be held on the theme ''Electromagnetic wave applications: from energy efficiency to bioengineering''. The URSI initiative aims to promote the dissemination of scientific works and encourage the exchange of experience among researchers, manufacturers and service providers, among others. The congress will be held on 16 November 2012.

Interested parties may submit original scientific papers, by 07 October 2012, on the central theme or on the defined scientific areas. The selected works will be presented at the Congress.
 
The Portuguese Committee of URSI, with sponsorship from ANACOM, will award the "ANACOM-URSI Portugal Prize", recognising the best research work in the area of radio electricity. Applications may be submitted by 07 October 2012.
 
The prize, will be delivered during the Congress to the best paper presented by a Portuguese student.
