The deadline set by ANACOM for the majority of providers to implement the new rules for the termination, on the initiative of subscribers, of contracts governing the offer of publicly available electronic communications services ended this week. These new procedures were approved by decision of 9 March 2012.
During this period, i.e. since the approval of the above-mentioned decision, service providers were obliged to:
- adapt the subscription contracts and the information concerning the conditions of the offer;
- inform subscribers about the changes introduced to the contract termination procedure, and tell them where and how details on such changes can be consulted.
