Law no. 46/2012, of 29 August, transposes the part of Directive 2009/136/EC amending Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July, concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, introducing the first amendment to Law No 41/2004, of 18 August, and the second amendment to Law No 7/2004, of 7 January.
