2014 UEFA Champions League Final - radio licence applications close 07.05.2014

The 2014 UEFA Champions League Final is being played on 24 May 2014 at Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon. International coverage and organisation of this event will entail intensive use of radio spectrum resources.

To prevent interference occurring between the different radiocommunications systems used to cover the final, it is essential that all radiocommunications users obtain the required radio licences in Portugal1, thereby obtaining the right to use radiocommunications stations or networks according to the conditions and parameters established in each licence.  The only exceptions to this requirement are the situations detailed in annex 4 to the National Table of Frequency Allocations (NTFA) that are exempt from licensing.

Licence applications for the final must be submitted to ANACOM no later than 7 May. Applications can be submitted online using ANACOM’s website (Online Services | Forms for electronic and interactive services), or can be submitted by completing the “Modelo 61 ANACOM” application form and sending it by email to edge@anacom.ptmailto:edge@anacom.pt.
