ANACOM has published its Multi-Annual Activities Plan for the 2015-2017 period, setting out its priority areas for action in the regulation, supervision and oversight of the communications sector. The plan also covers activities of a stable and ongoing nature, which are nonetheless essential to ensure that ANACOM is able to carry out its mission effectively.
For the first time since ANACOM was established, the strategic guidelines for this plan were submitted to public consultation. As a result of this consultation (consultation report approved by determination of 7 August 2014), a significant number of contributions were received, the majority of which were taken into account and are incorporated into the Plan.
Furthermore, ANACOM's Advisory Council was called on to give its view, in statutory terms, on the general lines of the 2015-2017 Multi-Annual Activities Plan and 2015 budget. The Advisory Council approved the respective opinions at its meeting of 6 October 2014.
