MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) has made information available on the DTT Website about where digital terrestrial television (DTT) coverage has been changed to satellite reception (DTH). A structured file is provided by district/municipality/parish/locality which includes the history of changes in coverage from DTT to DTH since 2012, and the date on which information was changed.
The population covered by these situations is entitled to reimbursement from MEO for the costs incurred or which will be incurred as a result of this change.
This measure results from ANACOM decision of 1 October 2015, which determined the publication of this information, as well as ANACOM decision of 7 April 2011 concerning the procedures of reimbursement as regards DTH installation and equipment.
