BEREC - public consultation on net neutrality guidelines

A public consultation on the draft guidelines of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) on the implementation of European rules on net neutrality closed on 18 July 2016 with nearly half a million of contributions received.

As planned, the BEREC Office is now conducting a comprehensive examination of contributions, in order to ensure that all relevant information will be considered in the final version of the guidelines to be submitted for adoption by BEREC's Board of Regulators at the Plenary meeting scheduled for 25 August 2016.

A press conference has been scheduled to take place on 30 August in Brussels (Belgium), aimed at all stakeholders, to present the results of this meeting, especially on this matter.

On the same day, before the press conference, the final version of the guidelines will be published on BEREC's website, together with the public consultation report and the contributions received (without reserve of confidentiality).
