Calculation of regulation costs for 2016 fees - electronic communications

Pursuant to paragraph 2 of Annex II to Administrative Rule no. 1473-B/2008 of 17 December, as amended by Administrative Rule no. 296-A/2013 of 2 October, and for the purposes of point b) of paragraph 1 of article 105 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law - Law no 5/2004 of 10 February, as amended and republished by Law no 51/2011 of 13 September, as subsequently amended), by decision of 21 July 2016, ANACOM has determined:

• to approve the calculation of the costs of regulating the activity of provider of electronic communications networks and services for the purpose of the fees payable in 2016, totalling 29,882,629 euros;
• to approve the engagement of auditing services to carry out audits of a set of suppliers of electronic communications networks and services to confirm relevant revenues reported for 2015 for the purpose of regulation fees, and to check reported turnover, in order to determine the distribution of the net costs of universal service.
