The Portuguese Committee of URSI has launched a call for papers in preparation for its 10th congress, which will take place on 18 November 2016, in Lisbon, on the theme "Communications in Safety and Emergency Scenarios".
With the sim of encouraging young Portuguese authors, ANACOM sponsors the Best Student Paper Award, which will be awarded for the best paper presented by a student who is its first author and also presents it at the Congress. Entries must be submitted no later than 10 October 2016, together with submission of the article (confirmation of the author's academic status may be required).
The Portuguese Committee of URSI, with sponsorship from ANACOM, will also award the "ANACOM - URSI Portugal Prize", which will award the best research work in the area of radioelectricity. Entries may be submitted up to the same deadline, i.e. no later than 10 October 2016.
