France adopts Communications Law

The French Senate approved, on 3 June, the electronic communications and the audiovisual communications services law, which transposes into the national regime the so called ''Telecommunication Package'', arising out of the 99 Review.
Adopted by the European Union in 2002, this package became of compulsory application in the european space as from 25 July 2003.
