The new ANACOM website - www.anacom.pt
The new website of ANACOM is launched today.
Besides a new graphic image, www.anacom.pt provides additional functions, while content has been renewed and expanded.
The website is manifestly a vital element of ANACOM's communications policy.
Hence the need, now made reality, to endow it with simpler and more flexible mechanisms for the handling of its respective contents. This should allow the publication of same in useful time, in a manner appropriate to the relationship we aim to consolidate with the various market forces by means of this website. A content management application has been implemented, which besides stimulating the publication process, enables interoperation with other systems. ANACOM is thus prepared for the next generation of information platforms and services.
Indeed, ANACOM has added responsibilities with respect to both the use of its electronic page and the protection of consumers' interests, namely concerning promotion of their respective clarification. This derives directly from its statutes (articles 6, number 1, paragraph h, 11 and 55 of Decree-Law 309/2001 of 7 December).
Hence also the launch of On-Line Services, which is to provide a number of services that could previously only be obtained personally at ANACOM' s public attendance services.
Updating the website is a constant process. This has always been our commitment, and will be maintained.
