Results of the public consultation on postal services
The European Commission has already released the results of the public consultation on the future of postal services, launched on 10 November 2005 and closed on 27 January 2006, in which ANACOM participated.
The purpose of this public consultation was to assess the opportunity for initiatives in this market having in view the provision of modern postal services. Until the end of 2006 the Commission is expected to present a report and a draft proposal confirming, or not, 2009 as the date to complete the internal market for postal services.
