Terms of Internet Access - Interconnection agreements and establishment of a transition period to the new model

By determination of July 31st, 2001, rules were defined for interconnection agreements applicable to Internet access traffic to be signed between PT Comunicações, S.A., and interested parties. Full copies of agreements signed within this framework must be submitted to ICP within a maximum of 10 days after the date of signature of the respective agreement. It was also decided to establish a supplementary period to the transition period, which is to end on 31/10/2001, during which ISPs may change to the new model established in the determination of 21/02/2001, at any moment prior to the date now stipulated.
