ETNS Meeting on 5 March 2003
ETNS (European Telephony Numbering Space) is a numbering space created for Europe - ?3883?- parallel to the one that currently exists for each country, with the aim of making the Pan-European communications services offer feasible.
Taking into account the obligation on network operators, arising out of the transposition of the new regulatory framework, to handle calls to ETNS numbers, an ?ETNS Interconnection Working Group? meeting will be held in Brussels on next 5 March. This European Radiocommunications Office (ERO) Working Group is involved in the interconnection aspects associated with ETNS.
The aim of this meeting, opened to all interested operators, is to clarify as much as possible, among other things, technical and commercial aspects associated with this obligation. In addition, additional information on this meeting may be found in: European Telephony Numbering Spacehttp://www.ero.dk/eroweb/etns/etns-0303-intercon-mtg.htm.
