By determination of 23 April 2009, ANACOM approved the procedures set forth by Decree-Law no. 53/2009 of 2 March (rules applicable to the amateur and amateur-satellite services).
The approved document is submitted to a hearing of interested, under the terms of Article 100 et seq. of the Code of Administrative Procedure, for a period of 10 working days.

Glossary
Amateur Satellite Service: Abbreviation: AM-S. Radiocommunication service using space stations on Earth satellites for the same purposes as those of the amateur service.
Amateur Service: Abbreviation: AM. Radiocommunication service for individual training, intercommunication and technical investigations carried out by amateurs, that is, by duly authorized persons interested in radio technique solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary interest.
