New Generation Networks - deadline of public tender for the Centre zone has been extended

By order of the Assistant Secretary of State, for Public Works and Communications, which was published today in the II Series of the Official Gazette, the deadline for submitting tenders for the installation, management, operation and maintenance of high-speed electronic communications networks in the Centre zone of mainland Portugal has been extended.

Tenders should thus be submitted by 4pm on 13 August 2009 to this Authority's Public Enquiry Service, located at Av. José Malhoa 12, Lisbon. The public tender award shall take place at 10 am on 14 August 2009.

Consequently, the deadline for submitting clarification requests has been extended to 6 July, 27 July being the new deadline for the corresponding responses.

The corresponding tender announcement no. 174851-2009 and additional information no. 180059-2009, concerning the launching of the tender and extension of the deadline for submitting proposals, have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
