Call for tenders for the award of four national licences to operate international mobile telecommunications systems (UMTS/IMT2000)

The Portuguese Communications Institute (ICP) has announced a call for tenders for the award of four national licences to operate international mobile telecommunications systems (UMTS/IMT2000).

Tenderers must comply with the methodology and other conditions laid down in the Tender Regulations approved by and annexed to Order No 532-A/2000, as published in series 1(B) of the Portuguese Official Gazette (Diário da República) No 175 (supplement) of 31 July 2000, as well as in the terms and conditions and in the legislation applicable to the sector.

Tenders must be submitted by 16.00 local time on 29 September 2000.
