Ministerial Order

Under the terms of article 13 (3) of the regulations of the public tender for the grant of a license for the establishment and operation of a digital terrestrial television platform, approved by Administrative Rule no. 346-A/2001, of April 6, I have nominated a Committee responsible for appraising the bids and preparing a classification list of the bidders, by ministerial order of April 12, 2001.

Considering that the appraisal of bids is based on fulfilment of the selection criteria established in the regulations, and on the evaluation grid established by the Appraisal Committee,

Considering that in order to appraise the bids the Committee held prior hearings with the bidders, under the terms of article 17 of the tender regulations;

Also considering that, having concluded its work of appraisal, the said Committee presented me a full and well-grounded proposal, including a list classifying the bidders, as required by article 18 of the tender regulations,

Under the terms of article 18 (2) of Administrative Rule no. 346-A/2001, of April 6, I approve the proposal to grant a national license for the establishment and operation of a digital terrestrial platform to PTDP - Plataforma de Televisão Digital Portuguesa, S.A. (company to be constituted) under the terms of, and in accordance with, the classification list submitted to me by the Committee.
