Public Consultation on ITED and ITUR assessment procedures

By determination of 2 December 2009, ANACOM has decided to launch a public consultation on the draft assessment procedures with respect to ITED (Telecommunications infrastructures  in buildings), 2nd edition, and ITUR (Infrastructures for telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings), 1st edition. Once the final versions of these procedures are approved, installers will be bound to comply with the obligations thereunder, pursuant to Decree-law 123/2009 of 21 May.

These assessment procedures are subject to the general consultation procedure, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 123/2009 of 21 May (article 105), for which a period of 20 working days has been provided for the interested parties to comment. Comments must therefore be received no later than 6 January 2010 and should preferably be sent by email to consultaprocedimentos.ited.itur@anacom.pt. Each email may contain one or more files as long as the total size of all files does not exceed 10 megabytes and, if necessary, comments may be divided into two or more emails.

Once the consultation procedure is  concluded, the responses received will be published on this website, whereby respondents to the consultation should clearly mark any items considered confidential.
