By determination of 4 May 2004, the Regulation on the Quality of Service applicable to the service of access to the public telephone network at a fixed location and the publicly available telephone service at a fixed location, prepared pursuant to articles 40 and 125 of the Law of Electronic Communications (Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February) has been approved, as well as the final report of the general consultation procedure which the respective draft regulation was subject to, following the determination of 23 November 2004.
Pursuant to that determination of 4 May 2005, the assessment of quality parameters for other electronic communications services, which has already begun, shall be pursued, aiming at the integration thereof, at a subsequent stage, in the framework of the provision of paragraph 2 of article 40 of the referred Law.
