The ANACOM Regulation Report covering activities in the year 2003 is now available.
This publication fulfils the obligations deriving from the ANACOM Statutes approved by Decree-Law no. 309/2001 of 7 Decemberhttp://www.anacom.pt/template20.jsp?categoryId=4675&contentId=17645, which envisage the elaboration of an annual report on regulation activities to be submitted to the Government for likewise presentation to Parliament, as well as a report on the situation of communications and the activity of regulation and supervision, to be submitted to the Government member with supervision responsibility for the sector and released to the public.
As in the first Report, this one also provides an overview of ANACOM activity, ranging through its various components, including the areas of regulation, supervision, sanctions, representation and public information. It also analyses the economic evolution of the communications sector (electronic and postal) in Portugal during the same period.
