Management Board

ANACOM’s Management Board is made up of one chairperson and two or four members - in this case, one of the members must be appointed vice-chairperson. Board members are appointed by the Council of Ministers, upon proposal of the Supervising Minister, for a non-renewable period of five years, and are subject to a specific incompatibility regime. The Board is responsible for the definition and follow-up of ANACOM’s strategy.

The board also has an Assistant Director for special projectshttp://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=25191 who is responsible to board member Eduardo Cardadeiro and, in terms of function, reports to the board member connected to the speciality of the project.

The current members of ANACOM’s Management Board were appointed under the terms of Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 59/2006 of 21 June as published in the Diário da República no. 118 (Series II) of 21 June, and of Resolution no. 23/2009,  as published in the Diário da República no. 229 (Series II) of of 25 November.
