One such sector is agriculture. E-Agriculture in Action: Blockchain for Agriculture - Opportunities and Challenges is a book published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the International Telecommunication Union. Its purpose is to demystify blockchain technology and present some ideas on how it can be used in agriculture. The report simplifies the technical infrastructure of blockchain technology, highlights the implementation risks within the agriculture sector, how it can benefit agricultural supply chains, how smallholder farmers can use it to manage financial and agricultural risk, and more.
