| NOTAS: | "Cable TV operators and their investors across Western Europe are looking at the possibility of generating revenue and return-on-investment growth from additional services provided over cable TV networks. Broadening service portfolios through offering a 'triple play' of digital TV, Internet access and fixed telephony in order to increase ARPUs and household penetration has been the principal strategy considered. Offering these new services, however, requires additional capital investment to upgrade old analogue cable TV networks. With a number of European cable operators already having significant levels of debt, funders are increasingly reluctant to provide additional capital in the face of uncertain levels of demand for these services.
