"The Annual report Telecom security incidents 2017 is the 7th annual report about significant outage incidents in the EU electronic communications sector. The legal framework for this incident reporting process is Article 13a of the Framework Directive (2009/140/EC). These incidents have been first reported nationally by telecom providers to the National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) in the different EU Member States as incidents having a significant impact on the operation of telecom services and networks. Subsequently the NRAs send a summary report about these incidents to ENISA and the European Commission. ENISA collects the summary reports and aggregates them to present a single EU-wide overview." |
